With a focus on building strategic alliances with key non-profit and service organization in Forsyth County serving the needs of teenagers and families in need, Corner Farms began meeting with and participating in numerous events and meetings. From building connections with Forsyth County Schools to providing classes at The Connection Forsyth, our team has spent numerous hours working to fulfill our mission to provide immediate assistance to at-risk individuals and families.
In an effort to be fiscally responsible and as we wait for our own 501(c)3 non-profit designation, Corner Farms established a FISCAL AGENT agreement with United Way of Forsyth County. UWFC handles various financial and administrative duties on our behalf as it pertains to donations to non-profit organizations. We are grateful for their support and assistance.
KEY AREAS WE ARE WORKING ON:
- Securing our 501(c)3 non-for-profit designation.
- Securing affiliations with partner agencies that can provide counseling services, to include licensed social workers, psychiatric help, etc.
- Launching WITH – A peer-to-peer program for teenagers. Currently WITH is being piloted at East Forsyth High School.
- Continuing to build strategic alliances with agencies that support and work collaboratively, to ensure those in need receive the help they need in a timely fashion.
